[Audio] Rochester – You Can’t Win (+ Trailer)

After taking a break from the music scene for a little while, Rochester has been working on a new mixtape titled Rockey. To accompany the project, he is also working on a filmtape, which is basically a mini film based on the music from the mixtape. See the trailer below.

The Filmtape features UFC fighter Sean Pierson and Maestro Fresh Wes. The concept is based on the movie Rocky but revamped to suit the younger audience. The story features a young fighter who cannot catch a break. He struggles to get through the wall when people tell him “You Can’t Win”.

Rochester has also released “You Can’t Win,” which is the first track from the mixtape.

[Video] 4th Pyramid – Feel It In My Bones

“Feel It In My Bones” is the latest video from 4th Pyramid’s Pyramid Scheme that was released earlier this year. Marco Polo produced the track while Johnny Nghiem directed the video.

“This song is based on a true story of me breaking my hip in a nasty little accident,” explains Pyramid, who opens the track by rapping, “I’m so hip-hop/ My hip popped/ Shattered into pieces when I hit it on the block.” The accident is a few years old, says Pyramid, and for a while it had just been a matter of finding the right instrumental. “When Marco Polo send me the beat,” he recalls, “I pretty much knew right away that it was perfect for my story.”
