New music from G Milla.

Toronto artist G Milla releases a new song entitled Genetics. This song depicts a story based on an inner city street kid. G outlines the street life of ‘Inner City’ caused by addiction, drugs, abuse and violence. A story that G can definitely relate to, this year has been a progressive one. G Milla has begun to make a name for himself with the release of his debut EP Downtown, and the follow up project Inner City. 2014 promises to be a great one for G as he’s been developing his debut album in LA since November. Stay tuned to G’s progress as he plans to ignite 2014.

“Havana” is the first single off of Peter Jackson’s Good Company mixtape.

Peter Jackson has just released his first single off of his “Good Company” Mixtape which drops on December 24th (Christmas Eve). The Single is called Havana it features Waka Flocka. Havana is a very hard hitting base driven record produced by Metcalfe & Byg Byrd, and features Multi Platinum Rapper Waka Flocka Flame & pop singer Bianca. The video for Havana will be shot with Waka Flocka & Peter Jackson in a few weeks in Havana, & Miami. With the support of major players like Young Money, MMG, & Brick Squad Monopoly behind this record, it is shaping up to be the biggest record out of Peter Jackson’s Catalog to date.

The Canadian wordsmith known as JD Era is back. It seems like its been far too long since we’ve heard from the lyricist, but not to worry, he’s back today with a new cut called “Break From Toronto”. The track is a smooth, hard-hitting number that finds the always impressive wordsmith showcasing his smooth style effortlessly.

King Jus and Fresh Kils have joined forces for the Work Hard EP, which also features appearances from C.A.T. and Kolor Brown.

After many years of collaboration, infamous lyricist and edu-tainer King Jus, and MPC master and producer,Fresh Kils have finally reached the apex, bringing to fruition a project years in the making. With a title like ‘Work Hard’, and resumes as stacked as Vegas high rollers, one can safely assume the EP won’t disappoint. Each track is a tribute to another of life’s adversities, while keeping self aligned with the power of expectation, and not being defeated by the struggle. Vivid story telling couched in smooth grooves and funky, raw, hard hitting beats, the EP feels like a classic, but balanced with a modern technique. With these two titans combining forces, other crews definitely have their work cut out for them.
