He also touches on some of the problems that people face just to survive day to day. From busking to husslin people are doing what they can to survive. Epic wanted to release this song with the discontinuation of the Canadian Penny. The Penny was the lowest form of currency and a symbol of poverty but at the same time persistence for those who collected them over the years, in hopes of having a good amount of money later on.

Epic has released another video from his Last Symphony: Rehearsal LP. “Overture” was directed by Abe Easy of Rolston Rye.

Epic drops the visuals for his tribute to the “Boom-Bap” era, “Overture.” This song has a 90s golden era sound yet is still modern and sticks with Epic’s orchestral style. The video also touches on Epic’s education, which is a topic that is not often talked about in Hip-Hop but, Epic intends to dismantle that stereotype. Epic is paying homage to the sound of the 80s and 90s which greatly influenced his music. Overture is bringing us back to the days of the Boom-Bap!

In this piece Epic expresses the real struggles of life on a local and global level. It is a social commentary that brings to light the hard problems in society and brings some awareness to these issues. We got some real “F’ckin Problems.”

“All My Ladies” is the latest video from Epic The Grand’s debut, self-produced Last Symphony: Rehearsal. The video was directed by Abe-Easy from Rolston Rye.
