New remix from ShaqIsDope featuring D-Pryde.

After being featured on the “Karate Chop” freestyle with the legendary NBA baller Shaquille O’Neal , ShaqIsDope decides to release an official remix to his smash hit “Varsity Jacket” off his “Sophomore Season” mixtape which features Asian pop sensation D-Pryde. The two connected after Pryde saw ShaqIsDope perform the track live. Check it out below and be on the look out for ShaqIsDope’s upcoming project Black Frames which will be released November 15th.

“Synthetic Love” is a re-release off of Special’s 2012 LP, Special Ingredient.

Underground hip-hop artist Special returns with a re-release of a track off his solo effort Special Ingredient, which was released in 2012. Produced by XXX productions, and featuring Toronto-based singer Oriana, this west coast g-funk infused joint has that 90’s feeling the game is definitely missing. In the spirit of artistic collaboration, the cover artwork, which will be available as a limited edition large format print, was created by Georgia based visual-artist Anna Modosiani.

New song from Crooklin in memory of his uncle who recently passed away.

The song is a 5 minute musical journey that starts with an answering machine message Rick left for me a few years back that makes me laugh every time i hear it. the song moves into another instrumental/remix i crafted up from a 45′ i dug up, next it takes a step into my childhood with the real audio of rick schooling me on some vinyl in my living room, followed by a verse i crafted over a loop i took from a jay electronica track.
