The collective known as the Freedom Writers have released their full-length album, NOW.

Theo3 drops debut album Airplane Over One Way Streets

Theo3 has dropped his debut album, Airplane Over One Way Streets, available online through iTunes and Bandcamp. The LP features appearances from DJ Eclipse, Ayah, DJ Grouch, Tanika Charles, Andreena Mill and fellow Freedom Writers Tona and Frankie Payne.

HERE IT IS. The debut album of Toronto’s very own Hip Hop force THEO3. A cohesive and intensely personal collection of songs that represent progression, balance, struggle and determination over a seamless blend of richly textured beats and varied production styles.

JD Era releases No Handouts

No Handouts is the first release from JD Era since signing with Raekwon’s Ice H2O Canada. Featured among the mixtape’s 13 tracks are Raekwon and Mac Miller. Producers who contributed to the project are Lex Luger, 9th Wonder and Rich Kidd among others.

The mixtape is available for free download, however there will be a deluxe version available on iTunes that will include bonus tracks not available on the free version.

Tona releases Reform School

Up-and-coming rhymesayer Tona has joined forces with DJ Wristpect and The DJBooth to bring listeners his latest digital release, the Reform School mixtape.

The project features 17 original cuts from the Scarborough, Ontario representer, including reader-approved leaks “Blue Shield,” “Neighbourhood,” “Hennessy Thoughts” and “We Do.”
