Tona releases Reform School

Up-and-coming rhymesayer Tona has joined forces with DJ Wristpect and The DJBooth to bring listeners his latest digital release, the Reform School mixtape.

The project features 17 original cuts from the Scarborough, Ontario representer, including reader-approved leaks “Blue Shield,” “Neighbourhood,” “Hennessy Thoughts” and “We Do.”

Joining Tona on the guest tip throughout Reform School are Freeway, Kardinal Offishall, Ayah, Dosage, Shad K., Kim Davis, Adam Bomb, JD Era and Theo3. Beats come courtesy of Grammy-winning producer Boi-1da, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Rich Kidd and more!

Homegrown releases HG Mix Vol: 90’s mixtape

After releasing their debut album, Bin Doin This, last year, Homegrown (Introspect, Es, Lep & iNA) have followed that up with HG Mix Vol: 90’s. The mixtape pays homage to 90’s hip hop tracks from Souls of Mischief, Gang Starr, OutKast and Wu-Tang Clan. The video for “HG ‘Til Infinity” was released a few weeks ago.
