Art of Fresh (D.O. and Slakah The Beatchild) are preparing for the release of their upcoming LP, Good Morning Yesterday, and have recently released their new video, “Amerika,” which was directed by iLLvibe.
Art of Fresh returns with their latest single “Amerika” from their upcoming album “Good Morning Yesterday”. Earlier this year, Art of Fresh ( D.O. And Slakah the Beatchild) released “Where I Go” which not only hit #1 on the US College charts but also had over one million views on Youtube. The duo is coming off an action packed summer where they hit Europe and rocked Fresh Fest in Croatia alongside Snoop Dogg, ASAP Rocky and KRS One. Then they returned home to Toronto, Canada where they rocked Unity Fest alongside Talib Kweli. “Good Morning Yesterday” is set for release in Spring 2014.

After focusing on solo endeavors over the past two years, D.O. and Slakah the Beatchild return as Art of Fresh with their new video, “Where I Go.” This is the first single from the duo’s upcoming third LP, Good Morning Yesterday, which is set for release in September. The video was directed by Slakah.
iLLvibe set to release new album
To The Moon & Back is the new album from iLLvibe and is set to drop on the 21st. Produced entirely by JL Prophet, it features appearances from D-Sisive, D.O. and Jus Frais among others. iLLvibe is also preparing to play 3 shows in as many countries in the new year; January 6th in Bristol, UK, January 11th in Toronto, and the next day in Pittsburgh.

D.O. to release new book on November 19th
Stay Driven is a new book from Duane Gibson aka D.O. The self-published book is a continuation of D.O.’s work as a speaker at schools throughout Toronto and elsewhere in Ontario.
The official launch of the book is set for Monday, November 19th at No One Writes the Colonel (460 College St.) from 6-9pm.
D.O’s inspiration for writing this book began with his participation in the Toronto District School Board’s Read to Succeed program where he has performed for several years, encouraging students to read. Stay Driven shares personal anecdotes from his childhood, life lessons that helped him overcome challenges of bullying, and how he followed his dreams and persevered to achieve success. D.O. will be touring various schools across Ontario, speaking with students about anti-bullying and youth empowerment.
