[Video] Grimace Love – Burnt Bread (ft. Lancecape)

New video from Grimace Love for the Lancecape-produced “Burnt Bread.” Directed by Jojo Karume.

Grimace Love effortlessly unleashes his inner beast over a hard hitting, horn driven rhythm. From top to bottom it’s nothing but jabs and upper cuts. And just when you think it’s done? He slaps you with a hard hitting hook to the kidneys. Grimace will prove in just three minutes, that you cannot place him in a box on some consciousness tip. He is aggressively attacking the scene with an impeccable flow and knockout lyrics. Once again showing the world how multifaceted he truly is.

[Audio] Lancecape – Significant (ft. Theo3, Korry Deez & Adam Bomb) (prod. Lancecape)

lancecape-significant-artwork

New one from Lancecape, Theo3, Korry Deez and Adam Bomb.

The best possible answer would be some truly, SIGNIFICANT music. Theo 3 (Camp X/Freedom Writers), Korry Deez (IRS/Monolith) and Adam Bomb (Empire/Freedom Writers/Naturally Born Strangers) unleash monstrous verses over a neck snapping Lancecape production. Each MC displays what significant means to them. The track is very witty and aggressive. Nothing short of what a posse track should be. It further more displays that Hip Hop is alive and well north of the border.

Get ready to snap your neck to a real, SIGNIFICANT banger.

Lancecape drops The Beat EP

lancecape-thebeatep-artwork

The Beat EP is a collection of instrumentals that Lancecape used during the Manifesto Festival’s The Beat producer showcase and is the fourth project he has released this year.

Manifesto is an annual festival that takes place in Toronto every year. They focus very hard on bringing together the best of the best from Toronto and surrounding areas. Since it’s a Canadian event, Lancecape took it upon himself to pay tribute,by flipping samples used in some Canada’s biggest tracks from past and present. Lancecape made every beat from scratch specifically for the event. So instead of the beats possibly never being heard again, he has decided to release all the intrumentals as a FREE E.P.

[Audio] Lancecape – Cruff (ft. Wio-K) (prod. Lancecape)

lancecape-ronnielaws-artwork

“Cruff” is the sixth track to be released from Lancecape’s Return To The Classics.

Lancecape unleashes yet another crazy sample flip. This time he re-visited a Ronnie Laws track that was notably used on Black Moon’s smash hit “Who Got The Props”. This break is incredible. Very smooth, very jazzy and with some crispy drums. It becomes one of Lancecape’s best flips on the project, just push play and you too will agree.
Lancecape called upon none other than Wio-K, one of Canada’s best emcees. The support he has in the Canadian hip hop community has earned him a cult-like following. Wio-K prides himself on being a proud Jamaican/Canadian and has undeniably contributed to putting Toronto on the map.
Being a proud father and role model, he decided it’s time to expose the “Cruff” artists out there leading their listeners into self-destruction. The song is 100% genuine and true to the point. “Your seed can’t claim your love, cause you’re a jerk waste youth in real life man you’re a CRUFF”. These words alone explain everything.
