Junia-T and CROOKLiN, together known as Smash Brovaz, have released their debut album, Think It’s A Game?, digitally through DJBooth.net. The LP features production from Junia-T as well as contributions from Big Pops, Intricate Sound, Like (of Pac Div) and Slakah the Beatchild. In Times Neue Roman’s #LateNightToronto, a hand-made mask, portraying Mayor Rob Ford infects the city. The mask becomes a vehicle to explore the dark and decadent geographies of Toronto after-hours.
Directed by Glenn Michael, the video features a wildly diverse group of Toronto artists ranging from drag queen-mayoral candidate Keith Cole to producer-rapper Rich Kidd who also lends a vocal to the song. The Fordian masks were designed by Ilona Fiddy.
