Platinum selling Hip-Hop pioneer, Maestro Fresh Wes, is back to deliver us an uplifting track in honour of our Canadian Olympians. Celebrating 25 years under his belt, Maestro looked to fellow Canadians, Classified & Blue Rodeo, for the assist on “Reach For The Sky (Gold Medal Mix). Resulting, an anthem for Canadian Olympians over these Winter Games.
It’s been a couple years since the debut of Wolves (“Air Pump & A Mushroom Cut”), a group made up of Ghettosocks, D-Sisive, Muneshine, Timbuktu and Bix. Their self-titled debut available and features appearances from Maestro Fresh Wes and Adam Bomb.
Wolves is 14-tracks of blood curdling beats by Bix, setting the tone for D-Sisive, Ghettosocks, Muneshine, and Timbuktu to unleash some beastly raps that will tear your heart out through your chest. “Worldwide Vapors” is a modern take on Biz Markie’s classic “Vapors.” Directed by XCON of Will X Movement, produced by Charisma aka Skizzz and featuring Big Kish and Maestro Fresh Wes, the track appears on Dan-e-o’s recently released Immortal EP. Dan-e-o’s full-length album, Inevitable, is due out on November 12th.
Maestro drops the latest video off of his Orchestrated Noise album. “Stranger” features Saukrates and was directed by G-Dot.
Immortal is a new EP from Daneo. The project’s 6 tracks were produced entirely by Charisma aka Skizzz and feature appearances by Dice Ailes, Moka Only, Big Kish and Maestro Fresh Wes. Dan-e-o’s full-length album, Inevitable, is set for release in November.

As I mentioned in the last post, Maestro released his new album Orchestrated Noise on Tuesday. This is the 7th LP from Maestro over his 25 years in hip hop and it features artists from a variety of genres including Kardinal Offishall, Sam Roberts, The Trews, Divine Brown, Classified, Saidah Baba Talibah, Glenn Lewis and opera singer Measha Brueggergosman. Fellow hip hop legends Sadat X, Kool G Rap and Chuck D also make appearances.
