New single from Rift and Savilion.
Hand’Solo Records is proud to present “Carry the Fire,” the first single and title track from the upcoming collaboration album between rapper Rift and rapper-producer Savilion. “Carry the Fire” is a rap track on which Rift, over a minimalist Savilion production anchored by a wicked beat box, boasts of his survival skills in the wilds of both music and an imaginary, post-apocalyptic world, inspired in part by Survivorman Les Stroud, Bear Grylls, Grizzly Man and the movie/book The Road. Carry the Fire drops June 2014 and features 10 tracks of laid back boom bap about love, loss, family, friends and the state of modern hip hop. Guest appearances come courtesy of Wordburglar, Chokeules, Geneva, Sulfur and more.
Razz releases SimpliCity
SimpliCity is aa new EP from Razz.
After taking some time away from the mic for over a year, Razz is back with a new found energy and sound with SimpliCity. The 8 song E.P. defines his journey as an artist and his confidence in his music. Each song tells a different story and represents a certain location that has made an impact on his life and inspired certain moments. Toronto producer Savilion who after working closely with Razz was able to push the album in the direction he was looking for produces 6 out of the 8 songs. Savilion has been working with BLIS for the last several years and has been crucial for the growth of BLIS. Remy Perrin of Wavepulse Studios produced the two remaining songs “The Shore” and “Highway 28”. Unlike past releases from Razz, SimpliCity only features 2 other artists being Louisa Zhu and long time collaborator Calabru. The features on this project were not meant to outshine but rather to compliment the project as a whole! Razz has put together a project, which really reflects his journey and personality as a whole! SimpliCity offers the fans a mixture of feel good music with songs like All About That and Love The View as well as hard hitting Hip Hop influenced tracks like the Frank Sinatra sampled Here’s To You.

Ghettosocks, D-Sisive, Muneshine, Bix & Timbuktu release Wolves LP
It’s been a couple years since the debut of Wolves (“Air Pump & A Mushroom Cut”), a group made up of Ghettosocks, D-Sisive, Muneshine, Timbuktu and Bix. Their self-titled debut available and features appearances from Maestro Fresh Wes and Adam Bomb.

Swamp Thing releases Firedogs LP
Swamp Thing (Timbuktu, Chokeules and Savilion) returns with their sophomore album, Firedogs. D-Sisive, Adam Bomb, Ghettosocks and Wordburglar all make appearances on the album, with Ghettosocks creating the artwork as well.
Swamp Thing combines the trio’s experience as Savilion and Timbuktu create party soundtracks and soundsapes on which the three emcees rap about topics ranging from horror and sci-fi to wild nights and life on the road. At the end of the day, Swamp Thing is all about banging beats, hard rhymes, and melting faces off with rap. Stay tuned.
