[Video] Eternia – Final Offering (ft. pHoenix Pagliacci)

Eternia returns with her first video in over two years. “Final Offering” uses the instrumental from Kendrick Lamar’s “Hii Power” and features pHoenix Pagliacci. The video was directed by Alex Narvaez.

Eternia returns after a two year ‘hiatus’ with an epic verse. Unloading a hailstorm of questions pointed at herself, God, her family, her friends, and her very purpose, ‘Final Offering’ tackles the lows of life, a topic most people avoid with repression and distractions. Eternia dives in, unafraid to reveal her insecurities and self doubt while challenging the very tenets of faith and foundation of family that she was raised on. She is joined by pHoenix Pagliacci, a burgeoning triple-threat in the Canadian music scene, who soars on this track with a poignant reminder to Eternia, and anyone else who is experiencing similar lows, of what “Hii Power” really is.

Director Alex Narvaez (a.k.a. The Can Con Don) contributes a docu-style moving landscape to the raw vulnerability of Eternia’s delivery & content. Doubling as a tribute to Toronto’s historic Kensington Market, Narvaez paints the symbolic picture of Eternia as isolated and alone. But as the chorus uplifts the song, Eternia is joined by a ‘female voltron’: empowered by a support network of talented women who know their own power & purpose, reminding her of her own.

[Audio] Ekko Effect – Summer Madness (ft. pHoenix Pagliacci, Sstyles & Chris Brooks)

“Summer Madness” is the new single from Ekko Effect off of his upcoming album, The Learning Process. The song features pHoenix Pagliacci, Sstyles and Chris Brooks.

After the profound success of his first album, Knowledge Speaks Wisdom Listens, fans have been waiting patiently to hear the latest and greatest of Ekko Effect’s rhymes. Low and behold, that time is now. Working alongside Ekko on this single is none other than Chris Brooks and Sstyles, with vocals by pHoenix Pagliacci. With a jazzy undertone and distinguishable beat, “Summer Madness” embodies the perfect urban summer. The song mesmerizes the listener, capturing an old school feel with cunning lyrics. “Summer Madness” again proves that Ekko Effect remains on top of his game and focused on making positive uplifting music.

Gardener releases Pending

Gardener recently released his new LP, Pending, via iTunes. The 12-track album features appearances by Leftfield Keele, Christian Caldiera and Phoenix Pagliacci.

Gardener knows that, just like any sport, hip-hop athletes must adapt and grow with the game, or remain stagnant and get left behind. Gardener’s story-telling ability reflects the wealth of diverse experiences that he has to draw from. His drive to stay fresh leads him to experiment with different sounds, and mix melody with rap to create a sound the game has never heard before. Gardener’s passion is music and his instrument is his voice, but he is also a budding instrumentalist, and feels that understanding the craft of instrumentation is an integral part of his development as not just a rapper or musician, but as an artist. Gardener’s debut Pending culminates his latest works for receptive audiences.
