Tona releases Reform School

Up-and-coming rhymesayer Tona has joined forces with DJ Wristpect and The DJBooth to bring listeners his latest digital release, the Reform School mixtape.

The project features 17 original cuts from the Scarborough, Ontario representer, including reader-approved leaks “Blue Shield,” “Neighbourhood,” “Hennessy Thoughts” and “We Do.”

Joining Tona on the guest tip throughout Reform School are Freeway, Kardinal Offishall, Ayah, Dosage, Shad K., Kim Davis, Adam Bomb, JD Era and Theo3. Beats come courtesy of Grammy-winning producer Boi-1da, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Rich Kidd and more!

Perfeck Strangers release Series Premiere

Perfeck Strangers, the combination of Dan-e-o and Promise released their first single together in the summer of 2010. “Work To Do” also featured an appearance from Drake.

In November of last year, they dropped the video for “Ghetto.”

This Tuesday, March 6th, marked the release of their full-length album on URBNET Records. Series Premiere features guest appearances from Justin Nozuka, Wordsworth, Lisa Banton and others. It is available now for download via Bandcamp page (link below).
